Princeton Speller Eliminated

May 26, 2016 | Headline News

Robert Esposito, a-soon-to-be ninth grader from Princeton, made it to the second round of the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday before being knocked out.
According to the St. Joseph News-Press, Esposito missed on the word “ochlocracy,” which means government by mob or mob rule.
Esposito captured first place in the Northwest Missouri Regional Spelling Bee earlier this year and won a trip to Washington to compete in the national contest paid for by the News-Press.
