Judge Steven D. Hudson
Jennifer Boullion, Oxnard, CA, waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana and resisting arrest. She is scheduled to appear in court June 28.
Isaiah R. Coon, Trenton, pleaded guilty to not wearing a seat belt and was fined $10.
Joann Enochs, Grain Valley, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of operating a vehicle with defective brakes and was fined $200 and $68.50 costs.
Lucas Griffin, Trenton, pleaded not guilty to two counts of violating a protection order for an adult and had his cases continued to June 14.
Billy Fischer, Princeton, waived his preliminary hearing and had his case bound over to the Circuit Division on a charge of driving while intoxicated (persistent offender). His cases were certified to the Circuit Division on charges of speeding and failing to drive within a single lane, causing an immediate threat of an accident. He is scheduled to appear in court July 14.
Jonah A. Newman, Trenton, waived his preliminary hearing and had his case bound over to the Circuit Division on a charge of forgery. He is scheduled to appear in court June 16.
Richard D. Leeper, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to first degree trespassing and peace disturbance. He was sentenced to 11 days in the Grundy County Detention Center on each count, with the sentences to run concurrently. He is also to pay $100 to the Grundy County Law Enforcement Fund.
Tyler W. Nunley, New Cambria, pleaded guilty to violating the requirements of an intermediate driver’s license and was fined $10 and $68.50 costs.
Michelle S. Curtis, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana and had her case set for June 14.
Ronald D. Herring, Braymer, pleaded guilty to passing bad checks and was fined $200, $116.50 costs and is to pay $364.31 restitution.
Jonathan A. Lopez, Trenton, pleaded not guilty to unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and had a bench trial set for June 14.
Christy Miller, Trenton, pleaded guilty to passing bad checks and was fined $200, $116.50 costs and is to make restitution in the amount of $1,080.53.
Daniel J. Wilcox, Spickard, pleaded guilty to failing to register a vehicle and not maintaining financial responsibility for a vehicle and was fined $27.50 and $68.50 costs on each charge.
Scott A. Ewing, Trenton, pleaded guilty to speeding and had his request to attend Driving Improvement School approved. He was fined $151.50 and $68.50 costs.
Candace L. Geren, Trenton, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle on the highway without a valid license and was fined $37.50 and $68.50 costs.
Katie A. Smart, Spickard, pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a child and was sentenced to serve 30 days in the Grundy County Detention Center.
Cheyenne Sharp, Trenton, pleaded guilty to passing bad checks and was sentenced to serve five days in the Grundy County Detention Center, with credit given for time served. She is also to pay $116.50 costs and $91.20 restitution.
Jeffrey Chad Corbin, Trenton, pleaded guilty to unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana. Imposition of his sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for two years. He is to pay $100 to the Grundy County Law Enforce-ment Fund and pay $116.50 costs. He also pleaded guilty to displaying or possessing the motor vehicle plates of another person and was fined $77.50 and $68.50 costs.
Justin T. Sharp, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to second degree domestic assault. He is scheduled to appear in court again June 14.
Stetson A. Turley, Trenton, pleaded guilty, pursuant to a plea agreement, to filing a false report on the highway patrol emergency telephone system and was sentenced to serve 16 days in the Grundy County Detention Center, with credit given for time served. He is also to pay $50 to the Grundy County Law Enforcement Fund and $116.50 costs.
Brandon C. Young, Trenton, pleaded guilty to resisting arrest and assault of a law enforcement officer. Imposition of his sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for two years and is to pay $100 to the Grundy County Law Enforcement Fund and $116.50 costs.
Steven L. Munson, Jr., Chillicothe, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to an amended charge of misdemeanor stealing. He was fined $50 and $116.50 costs.
Anthony M. Roberts, St. Joseph, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of misdemeanor third degree domestic assault and was fined $200 and $116.50 costs.
