Stanley Reinholz Sr., an 85-year-old former resident of Trenton, died on Friday, April 22, 2016.
Memorial services will be held at Red Mountain Community Church in Mesa, AZ on Wednesday, June 15, 2016.
Mr. Reinholz was born in St. Louis on Feb. 24, 1931, the son of Elmo and Frieda Reinholz. After graduating high school in Cape Girardeau in 1949, he enlisted in the U.S. Naval Reserves in August before enlisting in the Navy in 1952. He served four years of active duty, including serving in the Korean War. Upon honorable discharge from the Navy in 1956, Mr. Reinholz enlisted in the reserves, where he served until his retirement in 1991.
Graduating from Southeast Missouri State University in 1959, Mr. Reinholz began a long sales career, joining Pfizer Inc., where he worked until his retirement in 1988. After retiring from Pfizer and the Navy, he began the second half of his sales career as an independent account executive selling promotional and speciality advertising products.
Mr. Reinholz was married on April 19, 1952 to Della Ann Davault. The couple lived in Cape Girardeau until moving to the Kansas City area in the early 60’s. In 1964 they moved to Trenton, where they lived until they retired to Arizona in 2001.
He is survived by three sons, Stan Jr. and his wife, Janet, of Knoxville, TN, Mark and his wife, Martha of Mesa and Andrew and his wife, Jennifer of Mesa; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Della; a daughter, Teresa; and an infant son, Patrick.
