Trenton Middle School Band members came home with 16 ratings of I and nine ratings of II following the Macon Middle School Band Festival held on Saturday.
Eighth graders earning rankings of I (exemplary) were Rebekah Allen, trombone; Kendall Crowley, snare drum; Madi Cutsinger, timpani and marimba; Tiffany Gilbertson, flute; Ashley Johnson, tenor saxophone; Rudy Mathews, trumpet; Riley Raymo, trombone; Lily White, trumpet; and Mackenzie Klinginsmith and Lily White, clarinet/trumpet duet.
Seventh graders earning a I rating were Ellie Boman, alto saxophone; Sydney Ellis, timpani; Brice Gibler, snare drum; Amanda Parrack, tenor saxophone; Hannah Stark, clarinet; and Jadalynn Roberts and Chloe White, flute duet.
A rating of two went to eighth graders Ann Airey (clarinet), Jamie Burkeybile (trombone), Mackenzie Klinginsmith (clarinet), Madi Cutsinger and Mackenzie McAtee (marimba/alto saxophone duet) and Emily Kosse and Mackenzie McAtee (alto saxophone duet); and seventh graders Coy Bachman (tuba), Abbygayle Gableman (flute), Bailea Jeannoutot (alto saxophone) and Kayleigh Snuffer (flute).
