Princeton FFA Has No. 1 Livestock Judging Team

The Princeton FFA chapter has qualified one judging team for the national FFA competition following the first day of Career Development Education judging on Thursday at the Missouri FFA Convention in Columbia.
The Livestock Team earned top honors among schools participating in the competition, earning a Group 1 rating. Three of its team members also earned a 1 rating, including Savannah Milburn, who was third individual judge; Shambree Hagan, who was fourth; and Madison Enright, who was sixth. The other team member was Vivian Allen, who finished 38th.
Princeton also had the third-place Horse Judging team, earning a Group I rating. Three of its members also earned a I rating, including Hunter Boxley, who was seventh; Logan Krohn, who was ninth; and Kylie Willett, who was 22nd. Soyer Wimer was the other team member.
Princeton teams also finished 22nd in soils and 26th in FFA Knowledge, both receiving a Group II rating. The Soils Team finished 22nd, but no team ranking was given.
Trenton earned Group II ratings in Farm Management and FFA Knowledge. The Farm Management team placed 14th with Emily Kasinger finishing 22nd and earning a I individual rating. Other team members were Hannah Persell, Jayden Roeder and Tenna Roberts. The FFA Knowledge Team was 25th.
Gilman City had three teams in competition. The Soils Team was 14th and received a Group II rating while the Dairy Foods Team was 18th and also received a Group II rating. The Agronomy Team was 37th and earned a Group III rating.
Jamesport had three teams competing, with the Floriculture Team finishing 31st and the FFA Knowledge Team taking 33rd, giving them both a Group II rating. Receiving a Group III rating was the Nursery Landscape Team, which finished 33rd.
Mercer’s Poultry Team was 28th, but no group ranking was given.
