Pitch, Hit And Run

The Green Hills Recreation Association will host a pair of events for area youth on Saturday, April 30. The organization will hold a Pitch, Hit and Run competition at 10 a.m. and a Jr. Home Run Derby at 1 p.m., both at the Ebbe Sports Complex.
The Pitch, Hit and Run competition is the official skills competition of Major League Baseball. It will be broken into four age divisions for both boys and girls, 7-8-, 9-10-, 11-12- and 13-14-year olds. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. The Jr. Home Run Derby will have two age groups for boys and girls, 12-and-under and 14-and-under. Registration for that event begins at noon.
