The Grundy County Health Department and Regional Arthritis Center will be hosting a chronic disease self-management course at the health department.
The six-week course will be held on Wednesday afternoons from 1 to 3 p.m., beginning April 27 and continuing through June 1. Participants should plan to attend each meeting.
The purpose of the series is to help equip participants with tools to set doable goals, make daily tasks easier, find support/solutions for problems, reduce symptoms of pain and fatigue, work in partnership with health care teams, relax and manage stress and make decision regarding health care, with the objective being to better manage chronic disease.
