Spickard Council Meets

The Spickard City Council met on Monday night, discussing election results from April 5.
According to information provided by City Clerk Mary Exley, Betty Lee will be retaining the position of alderman for the next two years. The other nominee is to still be announced as several write-ins were received for the second position during the election. The council agreed to reject a proposal for terrorism insurance coverage for the city. Spring clean-up will be held April 28-May 1. It was announced Mrs. Exley had received computer program training on March 18 with the possibility of more training at a later date. An executive session was held to pay bills.
The next meeting will be at 6 p.m. on Monday, May 9.
