Ann Baumgart Gianelli, 96, died on Tuesday, April 5, 2016.
A private burial of cremains is planned at the Trenton Masonic Cemetery, under the direction of the Slater Funeral Home in Trenton.
Mrs. Gianelli was born in Trenton in the same house in which her mother was born. She was married to Paul Baumgart, whom she married while both were students at the University of Chicago. She resided in Oakland, CA and enjoyed golf, bridge, bird watching and cooking as well as donating time to the Oakland Public Schools. She and her husband also owned a second home on the Monterey Peninsula, where they retired.
Following Mr. Baumgart’s death, she married Bill Gianelli. They both volunteered at the aquarium and served on the Del Monte Forest Foundation.
She is survived by her husband, Bill, and sons, Chris and Greg Baumgart.
