Two Trenton High School sophomores are among 30 from across the state selected to attend the Missouri Agribusiness Academy this summer.
Hannah Persell and Emily Kasinger, who are members of the Trenton FFA, will be attending the weeklong event, which will be held the week of June 6 in Springfield. Participants will be exploring various facets of agriculture, including visits to the Missouri Department of Agriculture in Jefferson City and various ag-related businesses in the Springfield area. The students will end their week with graduation ceremonies at the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City.
Other students selected from the area include Camden Williams of Milan, Jordan Hasty of Brookfield, Liberty Cox of Chillicothe and Alexandria Lock of Carrollton.
