Are you thankful for your community? If so, you can enter an essay contest in which a $5,000 donation can be made to the non-profit organization of your choice.
Shelter Insurance and local agent Cale Gondringer are teaming up to sponsor the contest, in which one donation winner will be selected by a public vote, with four other winners being chosen from a panel of judges. In addition, the individuals submitting the winning essays will each receive $100.
Information about the contest can be obtained by going to www.ShelterInsurance.com/Thankful, where essays can be submitted from now until Thursday, April 21. Voting will be done at the same site until Thursday, April 28. Information can also be obtained by contacting Gondringer at 359-4100.
