Robert Charles Muff, a 78-year-old Trenton resident, passed away at 7:28 a.m. on Friday, April 1, 2016 at the Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton.
A scheduled family visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. on Monday at Resthaven Mortuary. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton.
Mr. Muff was born on February 7, 1938 in Trenton, the son of Carl and Fern Alexander Muff. He was married to P.J. “Patricia” Trump on February 22, 1959 in Trenton. She preceded him in death on December 21, 2015.
Mr. Muff graduated from Trenton High School, attended the University of Missouri, and the American Institute Of Baking in Chicago. He worked as a foreman at Modine in Trenton and was Quality Control Manager at Modine in Jefferson City. He worked with Troop 95 as a scout leader.
He is survived by two sons, Shon Muff and Stephen Muff, both of Trenton; a daughter, Tricia Thornsberry of Eureka; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Stephanie Muff Pauley; and two sisters, Diane Gregory and Ruthie Yohanan.
