The North Central Missouri College baseball team was on the road Thursday, traveling to St. Charles Community College for a doubleheader. NCMC dropped game one 16-0, but bounced back with a 6-2 win in game two.
Anferney Hoeve led the Pirates to victory in the second game, striking out seven St. Charles batters. He allowed just two runs, one earned, on one hit and three walks in eight solid innings.
NCMC will host St. Charles Saturday in Trenton at 1 p.m.
