Three Princeton High School students were among those named to the Grand River Conference Scholar Bowl All-Conference Team for the 2015-16 school year.
Jacob Schwenneker and Joshua Schoonover, both seniors, were named to the first team. Schwenneker was a unanimous selection, along with Bryce Youngs of Maysville and Steve Knotts of Polo. Other first-team members were Coby Brogan of Gallatin and Jacob Auten of Worth County.
Named to the second team were Savannah Millburn, a senior at Princeton, along with Sarah Evans of Albany, Michael Addison of South Harrison, Walker McCallon of King City, Kallie Steiner of Maysville and Garrett Mattson of Stanberry. Honorable mention honors went to Davis Washburn of King City and Jesse and Matt Vaughan, both of Polo.
Polo and Princeton tied for top honors in the team standings with 8-1 records. King City was third at 7-2, followed by Gallatin and Worth County at 5-4, South Harrison at 4-5, Maysville and Stanberry at 3-6, Albany at 2-7 and Braymer at 0-9.
