4-H Members Participate In Events

Three Grundy County 4-H members took part in the State 4-H Teen Conference held March 12-13 in Columbia. Youth from 58 counties across the state attended workshops to connect with other 4-H youth as well as build service learning experience and master innovative new skills. Activities included creating musical instruments from recycled materials, learning about other cultures, assembling hygiene packages for homeless citizens and learning about honey bees and their importance to Missouri agriculture. Among those attending were, from left, Kennedy Wanstreet, Carly Wanstreet, Kidridge Griffin and April Meighen, University Youth Program Associate.
