The Princeton R-5 Board of Education will hold its regular monthly meeting on Monday, March 14 in the high school library.
The meeting begins with a public hearing regarding the start date for school with the regular meeting to follow. Items on the announced agenda include acceptance of resignations from three instructors, a health room board report, a financial report, discussion of the April 5 ballot proposal regarding the no tax increase bond issue, approval of steps and movement for certified staff on the 2016-17 salary schedule, discussion of certified teacher base salary and staff health insurance, discussion of extra duty stipends, bids for wireless connectivity improvement in the district, discussion of long-term goals regarding instruction/technology/equipment and administrative reports. An executive session for personnel, real estate, legal matters and records is also planned, followed by an open session to approve certified staff contracts for next year.
