Two North Central Missouri College women’s basketball players signed national letters of intent to continue their basketball careers with four-year schools on Friday at the Ketcham Community Center. Camille Buttorff, left, signed with Park University out of Parkville. “Camille is one of the most improved players I have ever coached,” Lady Pirates’ Head Coach Jenni Croy said. “She is very self-motivated and improved to the point that we had to have her on the court this season. She is constantly striving to be better and I don’t think she has completely reached her full potential. I know with her work effort she will make an impact right away at Park University.” Madison Winters, right, signed with the University of St. Mary’s in Leavenworth, KS. “Madison Winters is probably one of the hardest working, competitive kids I have ever coached,” Croy said. “She’s a player who goes hard each and every day in practice. She was a vital part of the 2014-2015 Region 16 championship for us last season. She earned second team all region honors last year and this year she was our go to player on the court. Madison set the tempo each and every day and the other girls fed off that. She will be successful at St. Mary’s and we are excited that she has the opportunity to continuing playing the game she loves.” Pictured in the back row are Croy, left, and NCMC Assistant Coach Leslie Wyatt, right.
