The Pleasant View fifth and sixth grade basketball teams split with Grundy R-5 Thursday night at the Grundy Elementary Basketball Tournament in Galt. Pleasant View won the girls’ game 25-8 and Grundy took the boys’ contest 36-10.
Teya Cooksey led the Pleasant View girls with 19 points while Grundy got six from Daya Allnut. In the boys’ game, Fletcher Christy had 10 for Grundy and Kiefer Tolson had six for Pleasant View.
