New Deputy Begins Duty

R-T Photo/Ronda Lickteig Christian Goode, left, was sworn into service this morning by Third Judicial Circuit Judge Jack Peace, beginning his duties as a Grundy County deputy sheriff. Goode is a native of Muldrow, OK, where he graduated from high school before studying computer technology at Carl Albert State College in Poteau, OK. Goode entered reserve officer training, became a part-time officer and then a full-time officer in Roland, OK.  He then attended a law enforcement academy in Ada, OK, completing the four-month course in June 2013. Since that time be has been a full-time police officer in Roland, which is located just west of Ft. Smith, AR. He is married to the former Alana Tolle, a Trenton native,  and the couple has two sons, Trace, 2, and Truex, five months.
