Preparations for the annual mailing to Trenton High School alums are under way following a general meeting of class representatives this past weekend.
A date for the annual mailing was set for Sunday, March 20 at 1:30 p.m. in the THS Commons. At that time, over 6,000 letters will be prepared for mailing to alums of THS on behalf of each graduating class. Each graduating class, not only those being honored this year, are asked to send representatives to the work session where all supplies will be provided. Honor classes are encouraged to bring a class letter for their respective classmates for inclusion in the mailing to their own class members.
In readiness for the annual mailing, updates to addresses are being sought and need to be sent to PO Box 185 in Trenton or delivered to Dr. John Holcomb at his business address on Oklahoma Avenue. He can also be emailed at [email protected]. Addresses and a list of deceased class members are needed by March 6 to update files and prepare labels for the mailing.
Classes completing plans for their annual reunions are asked to forward details to Steve Maxey in preparation for the materials to be enclosed in the bulk mailing. They may be sent to Maxey at [email protected].
The 2016 Alumni Week-end activities will take place on Sept. 2-4 with hundreds of guests expected to join locals in celebration of the special weekend. The Class of 1966 will be celebrating its 50th anniversary as well as being the 100th graduating class from THS with special events planned in addition to their own reunion.
