Several offices and businesses have announced plans to be closed in observance of Lincoln’s Birthday on Friday and President’s Day on Monday.
Closed on Friday and Monday are the Grundy County Courthouse, Grundy County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce/License Bureau, the Grundy County Family Support and Children’s Division, the North Missouri Children’s Advocacy Center and the Job Center (located at the Green Hills Regional Planning Commission).
Closed on Monday only will be Trenton City Hall/Trenton Municipal Utilities, the Grundy County-Jewett Norris Library, the Grundy County Health Department, the Green Hills Community Action Agency, the Green Hills RPC, KCP&L, Grundy Electric Cooperative/Grundy and Livingston County Public Water District offices, Farmers State Bank, Farmers Bank of Northern Missouri, Citizens Bank and Trust and US Bank.
The Trenton Post Office will be closed on Monday and there will be no mail delivery or box mail.
There will be no classes in the Trenton R-9 School District on Monday while there are no classes at North Central Missouri College on both Monday (President‘s Day) and Tuesday (staff in-service).
The Republican-Times office will be open and a newspaper will be published on both days.
