The Mercer girls got one of their tougher tests of the season on Monday night and still came away with a 19-point win on the road in Braymer.
Mercer (20-0) was paced in the win by Bailey Owens, who had 24 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks. Nicole Kost added 10 points, eight rebounds, five assists and four steals and Lindsay Wyatt had 10 points, four assists and two steals. Mercer also got nine points and three assists from Emily Sample and six points, six rebounds, three steals and three assists from Breanna Main.

The Mercer boys were unable to complete a sweep on the night, falling on the road by 13 points.
Galt Porter had 17 points to lead the Cardinals (16-4). Trey Wilson added 12 points, Alec Patterson had 10 and Cash Hartley finished with eight. Mercer also got six points from Bryer Noe and two from Larramie Moore.

The Princeton Lady Tigers couldn’t keep pace with a strong South Harrison squad on Monday night, falling by 39 points at home.
Princeton (7-12) was led by seven points from Haley Johnson and six from Payton Goodin. Vivian Allen and Dakota Buttrey each scored four points in the loss.

The Princeton boys held a 10-1 lead after the first quarter, but couldn’t hold on as South Harrison roared back in the second quarter with a 24-14 run. South Harrison again outscored the Tigers in both the third and fourth quarters, pulling away for the win.
Stephan Elliott had 16 points and Hunter Boxley scored 12 to lead the Tigers (12-8). Logan Dunkin added eight points, Calvin Berwanger scored five and Andrew Smith and Blaine Millburn each scored four.

The Princeton Lady Tigers did manage a Grand River Conference victory at home on Friday night, defeating Worth County.
Goodin had 12 points and Johnson had 10 to again lead the Lady Tigers. Princeton also got nine points from Allen, seven from Maddie Enright and four from Buttrey.

The Princeton boys picked up a home win Friday, completing the sweep of Worth County.
Princeton got the job done behind 29 points from Elliott. Boxley followed with 18 points, Millburn tallied 13 and Dunkin rounded out the team total with four.
