Grundy County made its presence known during the Great Northwest Missouri Day at the Capitol activities held in Jefferson City on Tuesday and Wednesday. County representatives were among a delegation of more than 300 individuals from the northwest part of the state who met with legislators and state officials to talk about priorities they see as important to northwest Missouri, including support for education, including PK-12; higher education and workforce development; infrastructure support and funding; transportation funding; and economic development support. During an evening reception, Grundy County also the county also featured what it has to offer in a display that included items from various businesses as well as a video highlighting how state funding gas benefited the community.
