Because of the dismissal of classes today in the Trenton R-9 School District due to the weather, Trenton Middle School has moved its spelling bee to Thursday in the TMS Media Center.
Sixth grade students will compete at 8:15 a.m., eighth grade at 9 a.m., seventh grade at 10 a.m. and fifth grade at 10:45 a.m. The top two spellers from each grade will advance to the Grundy County Spelling Bee on Tuesday, Feb. 2 at the Laredo R-7 School.
Friends and families are invited to attend.
