The Busy Bees 4-H Club met on Sunday, Jan. 17 at the Laredo Community Center with 14 members, five leaders and seven guests present.
Rebecca Urich called the meeting to order. Morgan Foster led the Pledge of Allegiance and Robert Urich led the pledge to the 4-H flag. Roll call was answered with each member answering the question, “Did you have a good Christmas?”
Robert Urich reported on his woodworking project. Hailey Kidd reported on her swine project. Bailey Williams reported on some Clover Kid activities she completed. Allena Allen reported on her arts and crafts project, as well as her beef project.
Mrs. Urich announced that each parent volunteer must go through a one-time training. This training can be completed at a training meeting or online. A letter should have been received if this training is not completed. She also announced that the next council meeting is scheduled for Jan. 25 and a record book training will take place at the courthouse on Feb. 15. The new club shirts were handed out at the end of the meeting.
For the club activity, members answered questions about 4-H and played the name game. Refreshments were brought by the Foster family.
The next meeting is scheduled at the Laredo Community Center on Sunday, Feb. 21.
