The Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be a host at the 11th annual Holiday Hoops at North Central Missouri College in Trenton from Dec. 18 through Jan. 2.
FCA has coaches as its primary focus and with 106 teams attending the basketball event, there will be many opportunities to serve the coaches.
This is the first year for FCA to be a host at the event and FCA will be sponsoring a table specifically for coaches at the Holiday Hoops. At the table, coaches will be able to pick up resources such as the FCA coaches Bible, John Wooden’s “Pyramid of Success”, “Three Dimensional Coaching Strategies,” shirts and more.
Holiday Hoops Director Steve Maxey is excited about the partnership with FCA and sees it as a win-win relationship for the teams and coaches as well as the event committee and the FCA colleagues.
”Our ministry is ‘to the coach and through the coach’ and the Holiday Hoops event is a great venue for us to interact with the coaches and give them the resources they want to make themselves a better coach,” FCA North Missouri Area Director Todd Mathew said.
