Judge Steven D. Hudson
Isaac Wattenbarger, 18, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and had his cases bound over to the Circuit Division on charges of resisting arrest and second degree assault. He is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 10.
Jose A. Murillo-Melendez, 41, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty, pursuant to a plea agreement, to an amended charge of identity theft. He was sentenced to 18 days in the Grundy County Detention Center and was given credit for time served. He is to pay $116.50 costs and $50 to the Grundy County Law Enforcement Fund.
Nathan M. Courtney, 18, Liberty, pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle for which no title has been issued since the vehicle was acquired and failing to display valid vehicle license plates. He was sentenced to serve two days in the Grundy County Detention Center on each charge, with the sentences to run concurrently, and was given credit for time served. He is also to pay $68.50 costs on each charge.
