Trenton R-9 Vesper Service Held

The Trenton R-9 Vocal Music Department presented its annual Christmas Vesper service on Sunday afternoon at the First Baptist Church. Members of the Trenton Middle School Choir along with the Trenton High School Concert Choir and Gold Rush performed during the one-hour event, which ended with the traditional candlelighting ceremony to the song “Silent Night.” Above, Gold Rush member Mickenzy Willey was the featured soloist during the number “Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming,” performed by female members of Gold Rush. Alumni members of the Trenton High School Choir were invited to participate in the candlelighting ceremony and, below, Gold Rush member Wyatt Neal and his mother, NiCole Neal, were among those taking part.
