A public hearing will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 8 to hear comment concerning consideration of a smoking ban ordinance in Trenton.
The Administrative Committee of the Trenton City Council will conduct the hearing at 5:30 p.m. in city hall. Members of the public who have an opinion about the issue are encouraged to attend.
The council is looking at whether or not a smoking ban in business places throughout the city should be implemented and whether or not the ban should be done by the council or by a public vote.
