D.A.W.G.S. Receive Medals In Chillicothe

The Disabled Athletes with Grundy Support (DAWGS) traveled to The Fast Lanes in Chillicothe on Saturday, Nov. 14 for the Special Olympics North Area Bowling Tournament. Hannah and Sierra Bruse sang the National Anthem for opening ceremonies and Jeffrey Jackson recited the athletes oath before the event began. All the DAWGS received medals and will be advancing to the Special Olympics State Games in Ft. Leonard Wood in March 2016 for basketball and bowling. After the tournament, the DAWGS enjoyed lunch before returning to Trenton.
