Pleasant View Tournament

The Pleasant View R-6 Tournament continued on Tuesday night in Trenton with four more games being played. Laredo swept Chula in the early games, taking the girls contest 19-9 and the boys match-up 26-6. In the late games, Bishop Hogan took two from host Pleasant View, winning the girls’ contest 21-13 and the boys’ game 34-15.
For Laredo, Chandler Lynch led the girls with 12 points and Logan Foster and Robert Urich scored 12 and eight points respectively to pace the boys. Chula got eight points in the girls game from Breanna Pithan and Ben Pithan scored four points in the boys contest.
Pleasant View got seven points from Teya Cooksey, three form Grace Allen and two from Megan Spencer in the girls game while Bishop Hogan was led by Sofie Leuetticke’s nine points. Josie Reeter, Jessica Reeter, and Izzie Montgomery each added four points for Bishop Hogan. The boys game saw Logan Stanton lead Pleasant View with eight points and Preston Harris scored seven. Mason Baxter had 14 points for Bishop Hogan and Hesston Campbell added six.
The Pleasant View Tournament wraps up tonight with its final four games of the tournament.
