Saturday’s Scouting for Food drive in Trenton resulted in 1,875 pounds of non-perishable food items, paper products and personal hygiene products being donated to the Community Food Pantry.
Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts participated in the collection of items donated by Trenton residents. Scoutmaster Dean Sager said Saturday’s amount is larger than the past two years and recognized the community for its support of this project.
