The Trenton Police Department has announced that David W. Manus, the suspect in a child kidnapping in Trenton earlier this week, has been taken into custody in Johnson County, KS.
Manus, 30, will be extradited back to Trenton to face charges of enticement of a child, sexual misconduct and child kidnapping. He is accused of taking a nine-year-old female from her bus stop near the Grundy County-Jewett Norris Library on Tuesday morning. He drove her to the Missouri Department of Conservation Mockingbird Hill River Access, where he exposed himself to her before dropping her off on Cedar Street.
