Road Work Planned In Area

The Missouri Department of Transportation will be doing road work in the area this week.
In Grundy County, mowing will be done on Highways 65 and 6 and pothole patching will take place on Routes A, C and NN. There will be sign operations on Wednesday through Friday on Route Z.
In Mercer County, shoulder work and mowing are planned on Highways 65 and 136. Drainage work will be done on Highway 65.
In Daviess County, spraying will be done on Interstate 35 while mowing will be done on Highways 6 and 190 and Routes V, NN and RA. On I-35, southbound from Highway 69 to Highway 6, there will be pavement repair on Thursday.
In Livingston County, mowing will take place on Highway 36. There will be bridge sealing at the railroad bridge on Washington Street in Chillicothe on Wednesday and bridge sealing at the Grand River Overflow Bridge on Highway 36 on Thursday.
In Sullivan County, mowing is planned on Routes C, E, T, U, CC and PP. Drainage work will be done on Highway 129 on Thursday and culvert replacement is planned on Route BB from Joiner Road to Kite Road from 7 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, closing that road.
