Youth from Trenton and around the area will participate in the Fields of Faith event being held on Wednesday night at C.F. Russell Stadium.
The event, sponsored by the Trenton High School and Trenton Middle School chapters of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, will feature 1974 Missouri State Discus Champion Eric Hauck as the guest speaker. Hauck is a life-long Trenton resident and THS alumnus who attends Trenton First Assembly of God Church. In addition, many local and area students will offer encouragement by sharing scriptures and testimonies. Youth from area schools such as Galt, Jamesport, Gilman City, Princeton, Milan and Gallatin have also been invited to participate.
A tailgate and games are scheduled at Eastside Park at 6 p.m., with the program to start at 7 p.m. at the stadium. While the event is open at no cost, donations will be accepted to help fund local FCA activities.
