North Central Missouri College will host its first A-Plus Appreciation Day on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
NCMC expects to have more than 80 students visiting the campus Wednesday during the hours of 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
During this day, NCMC will be celebrating the A-Plus scholarship program and the financial opportunity it provides to Missouri high school graduates to attend community college. In celebration, NCMC will offer information to NCMC students about the A-Plus program as well as other forms of financial aid and smart borrowing tips. Students will also be provided an opportunity to thank state legislators for their continued support of this important scholarship program. During this day, NCMC will also welcome high school seniors from the surrounding area to join in celebrating the A-Plus program and participate in the annual Senior Visit Day.
Senior Visit Day is an opportunity for high school seniors to get a glimpse of college life at NCMC by exploring academic programs, visiting with current NCMC students about college life, meeting with NCMC instructors and learning about campus organizations.
