in the Missouri Day Marching Band Festival, organizers of the Missouri Day Parade have announced a change in the start time.
Trenton Rotary Club President Steve Taylor said the parade, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 17, will begin at 8:15 a.m. There are 68 bands scheduled to take part in the marching festival, many of which will be performing in the parade. The parade will begin at the corner of Crowder Road and Main Street and follow the traditional route down Main Street, then east on Ninth Street to Eastside Park. Bands participating in the festival activities at Trenton High School will exit at Normal Street.
Entries are still being accepted for the parade, with the deadline to enter being Saturday, Oct. 10. Entries can be made through the Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce website, www.trenonmochamber.com and click on the Missouri Day Festival tab, then click on the parade entry form tab and follow the directions.
