Let’s Go Fishing

Trenton R-9 Parents as Teachers and preschool students and their parents took part in a “Let’s Go Fishing” activity, held Thursday night, Sept. 10, at Crowder State Park. The park and the Missouri Department of Conservation sponsored the event, which included activities involving fishing, snakes, mammals and crafts. Emily Woodside, daughter of Chad and Elizabeth Woodside, caught her first fish. Pictured above are students making “owl bags” with Park Superintendent Anna Persell.
