Kurt Mylenbusch of Trenton assumes the position on Monday, Sept. 21. Mylenbusch replaces interim development officer Steve Maxey, who served in the role after Matt Osterthun resigned from the position earlier this year.
“I have a passion for this community and I’m excited about the opportunity to help ensure we have the best health care available for my family, my friends, and the region,” Mylenbusch said. “Wright Memorial Hospital and Saint Luke’s Health System are important to the vitality of this community. A strong hospital ensures a strong future for Trenton.”
Mylenbusch earned a bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University, where he played collegiate baseball. Most recently, Mylenbusch worked for Barnes-Baker Automotive in Trenton as their parts and service advisor.
“Kurt is a great addition to the Foundation,” said Chad Boyd, chairman of the Board for Wright Memorial Hospital Foundation. “Being a Trenton resident, he’s already invested in the community. He’s eager and excited to get to work and we’re excited to see the contributions he’ll make.”
Originally from Oskaloosa, IA, Mylenbusch lives in Trenton with his wife, Kari, and their two children. He enjoys sports, traveling and spending time with his family.
