Students Get Shoes

Donnie Bonuchi of the Shoes from the Heart program is pictured with students from the Trenton Head Start Center who received new shoes from the organization on Thursday. Bonuchi and his wife, the late Cindy Bonuchi, founded Shoes from the Heart at Macon in 2012. The program now serves over 4,000 youth in 30 counties throughout the state. Susan Ellis is the teacher at the Trenton Center.
