McKayla Blackburn fires a pitch during the Trenton Middle School softball team’s 12-2 win over Brookfield Tuesday night on Johnson Field. Blackburn threw five innings allowing just four hits while striking out four. Lexi Whitaker was four-for-four at the plate with a home run, three RBIs and five steals. Blackburn went two-for-four with a double. Trenton lost the B game 13-1. Kendall Crowley and Jillian Nichols each had one hit for the TMS B squad. Both teams are home tonight, playing host to Norborne at 5 p.m.
