On Tuesday, Aug. 25, Scott Roy and Adam Brandsgaard informed the Trenton High School first hour conservation class about the Missouri Department of Conservation and the careers and opportunities it has. Adam told us about the different careers that involved outdoor education. Adam works with the education part of the department and explained to us the schools he travels to and the activities he does with each school. Scott is a private land consultant and goes around to private landowners and helps them with anything from managing their land to helping with animal problems. He also takes care of the land and gives the landowner suggestions on how they can get more from their land and increase wildlife on their property. (Submitted by Conservation Student Landon Ellis)
