Guest Reader Visits R-6 Preschool

Pleasant View R-6 preschoolers “Special Reader”, Colin Withers, began his weekly visits on Wednesday, Aug. 26. Colin joins the class once a week to read to the ​students. This year Colin is starting the year with “Back To School” books and will begin the Little House On The Prairie chapter book, “Little House In The Big Woods,” this week. This is his 18th year he has read aloud to Mrs. Janet Lake’s class. This program helps children acquire early language skills, develop positive associations with books and reading, and builds a stronger foundation for school success.
