The first day of school on Wednesday included several activities in the Trenton R-9 and Grundy R-5 school districts. In the top photo, the THS Band, FCCLA, FBLA, FFA cheerleaders and student council welcomed students back to class while in center photo, Toia Jones celebrates the opening day of school at Grundy R-5. In the bottom photo, Grundy R-5 held an open house on Monday night for students and their families, faculty, staff and district patrons.
