Tickets remain available for the Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce and Riverside Country Club “golf ball drop,” with persons having the chance to win prizes, including a car.
Barnes Baker has donated a 2008 Chevy Cobalt to give as the first-place prize for the ball drop fundraiser. Tickets for a chance to win the car as well as the $500 second prize are available at the chamber office at 617 Main St., from any Trenton Ambassador or board member or at the Riverside Country Club. Tickets are also on sale at the Trenton Republican-Times newspaper office. The cost is $10 per ticket.
The ball drop, along with an ice cream and dessert social, will take place on Saturday, Aug. 22 at the country club. Ice cream and dessert will be served beginning at 4:30 p.m. with the ball drop scheduled for 6 p.m. Ball drop tickets will also be available for sale during the social.
