Road Work Planned This Week

The Missouri Department of Transportation will be doing road work in the area this week.
In Grundy County, pothole patching will take place on Route E from Highway 6 to Laredo while drainage work will also take place on Route E. Mowing is scheduled for Routes A, B, Y and Z and Route A, from Route C to Highway 65, will have pothole patching on Thursday and Friday. Resurfacing will continue throughout the week on Highway 6 from the Muddy Creek Bridge to Highway 5 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In Mercer County, striping is planned on Highway 136 while pavement repair is scheduled on Highway 65. Routes K and M will have drainage work and there will be sign operations on various routes.
Daviess County work includes pothole patching on Highway 6 from Interstate 35 to the Grundy County line and bridge maintenance on Route B at the Interstate 35 bridge. Route J will be closed from Holly Street to 5th Street in Kidder on Wednesday for culvert replacement. Highway 6 will be closed on Thursday at Santa Rosa Road for culvert replacement.
In Livingston County, pothole patching is scheduled on Route A on Tuesday and Wednesday and Route Y on Thursday and Friday. Mowing will take place on Highway 65 from Highway 190 to the Grundy County line today through Wednesday and there will be mowing on Highway 65 from Highway 36 to the Carroll County line on Thursday and Friday.
In Sullivan County, pothole patching wil take place on Routes J, N, M, Y, AB and YY while drainage work is scheduled on Highway 139 on Tuesday and Wednesday. Resurfacing of Highway 6 from the Muddy Creek Bridge in Trenton to Highway 5 will also take place throughout the week from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
