The Missouri Department of Transportation will be doing road work in the area this week.
In Grundy County, striping will take place on Highway 65 throughout the week as well as pothole patching on Route N. On Highway 6, resurfacing will take place just east of the Muddy Creek Bridge in Trenton to Highway 5 in Sullivan County from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. Pavement repair will be done on Highway 6 from the Trenton city limits to the Thompson River Bridge through Wednesday.
In Mercer County, drainage work will be done throughout the week on Routes K, N and V. Pavement repair is scheduled on Highway 65 on Thursday and Friday.
Daviess County work includes mowing on Highway 13 from Route HH to the Ray County line through Tuesday and on Highway 6 from Interstate 35 to the Grundy County line throughout the week. Pothole patching is also scheduled throughout the week on Interstate 35 and Highways 69, 9 and 190 as well as Routes B, UU and T. Pothole patching is also planned on Route J on Wednesday and Route TT on Thursday. Brush cutting will be done throughout the week on Routes DD and MM.
In Livingston County, mowing is planned through Wednesday on Highway 36 from Route A to Highway 65 as well as pothole patching on Route H. Pothole patching will also be done from Wednesday to Friday on Route C, from Route F to Route Z, and mowing will take place on Thursday and Friday on Highway 36 from Highway 65 to Highway 139.
In Sullivan County, Route M will be closed on Tuesday from Gentry Drive to Highway 129 for culvert replacement. Mowing is planned on Highway 6 and Routes N, Y, J, B and RA. Drainage work will be done on Wednesday and Thursday on Business Highway 6 and on Route K on Friday.
