Mary Lorraine Harvey, an 81-year-old Trenton resident, died at 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today (Monday, July 27, 2015) at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery in Trenton.
Mrs. Harvey was born on April 21, 1934 in Trenton, the daughter of Willis Earl and Florence Shelton Harvey. She graduated from Trenton High School and worked as a nurse at Plainview and Eastview nursing homes. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing and embroidery.
Surviving relatives include a son, Larry Farr and his wife, Monica of Trenton; a daughter, Linda Davis and her companion, Darrel Oering of Bethany; a sister, Hazel Hobbs of Trenton; a sister-in-law, Ann Harvey of Trenton; a brother-in-law, Roy Brown of Trenton; grandchildren, Amanda Thompson and her husband, Tommy and Chris Farr and his wife, Brittany; three great-grandchildren, Riley Jones and Olyvia and Adyn Farr; and many nieces and nephews.
Those preceding her in death include her parents; a sister, Maxine Brown, a brother, Jerry Harvey, and a brother-in-law, Cecil Hobbs.
Memorial donations are suggested to Maple Grove Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
