Area Students Get UMC Scholarships

Two area students are among those receiving scholarships from the University of Missouri-Columbia College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources.
Adam Kirby received the Curators Scholars-Interscholastic Events, the Elyzabeth Schell Scholarship, the State FFA Officer Scholarship and the Excellence Award for the 2015-16 academic year. Kirby will be a freshman at UMC, majoring in biochemistry. He is the son of Glen and Val Kirby.
Carlee Johnson of Laredo received the Elyzabeth Schell Scholarship for next academic year. She will be a freshman, majoring in agribusiness management. She is the daughter of Russ and Sheila Thompson.
