Milo L. Herrick, an 84-year-old resident of Princeton, died on Saturday morning, July 18, 2015 at his home.
Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Princeton First Baptist Church. The body was cremated under the direction of Slater Funeral Home at Trenton.
Mr. Herrick was born on Aug. 27, 1930 in Waterloo, IA, the son of Perry Leon and Julia Jane Horton Herrick. He attended Salem High School in Salem, AR and also attended Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, IA. He had been employed as custodian for Princeton School District. He enjoyed playing gospel music for family, friends, and churches.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Princeton.
He was married on Nov. 27, 1949 in Spokane, WA to Laura Parcel, who survives of the home.
He is also survived by two daughters, Julia Herrick of Yakima, WA and Danni Herrick of Kansas City; one son, Milo Herrick Jr. and his wife, Linda of Ottumwa; one daughter-in-law, Darlene Herrick of Nortonville, KY; one sister, Rozela Van Winkle of Crowder, MI; two brothers, Oliver Herrick and his wife, Sarah of Fayetteville, AR and Varion Herrick of Grimes, IA; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Randy Herrick; one sister, Cora Herrick; and one brother, Walter Herrick.
